All Eastgate families are invited to attend the annual Back to School Social on Friday, September 10 from 6:30-8:00 at Eastgate. There will be music, popsicles, face painting, tattoos and fun. Fall 2010 Piano Club - Starts Wednesday, Sept 8th 1:15-2:15 Cafeteria
During this 11-week course, you will learn lots of your favorite tunes and be able to PERFORM them at a recital. We will work on piano perform-ance, solos, duets, musical games, music theory, sight reading, ear train-ing and singing. There will be three 11-week sessions this school year.
Main Stem Academy announces two HUGE offerings for every Piano Club student—FREE ONLINE VIDEO LESSONS and FREE ONLINE SHEET MUSIC included with your tuition for Piano Club!!!!!
Parenting Education Programs at Overlake
Parenting classes are available at Overlake Hospital that cover topics ranging from babies up to the teen years.

Best of the Northwest Auction was a Success!
Thank you to all of the Eastgate families and friends that supported the "Best of the Northwest" PTA auction in so many ways! The auction raised over $72,500, after expenses! The VIPP will directly benefit from $18,900 donated during “Raise the Paddle”! The silent auction raised over $17,400 and the live auction, over $25,500! Our two raffles collected over $2,500. Congratulations to Megan Clarke for winning the 2010-2011 Prime Parking Spot at Eastgate! The dessert dash collected $2,700 and the centerpieces $800! Collectively, the two Easel Parties raised $2,400; so thank you Stanton, Clarke, and Bradshaw families and the 1st Grade teachers! Many PTA programs will benefit from this fabulous fundraiser during the next two years! We could not have done it without everyone’s time, talents and donations. Thank you all!
Privat Label Auction Wine Available
We have a limited quantity of the Silver Lake Private Label Wine left from the auction! If you would like to purchase a bottle of Chardonnay or Cabernet/Merlot, please contact Tara Jesson (tara@jesson.com). The special edition wine label was designed by Jordan Burckhardt, Eastgate 4th Grader. Get it before its gone! If you purchased wine at the auction, but did not pick it up, please let Tara know, so arrangements can be made to deliver your wine.

T-shirts, hats and other accessories are available for purchase at the Fieldhouse® online store. A portion of the proceeds from every item sold is donated by Fieldhouse® to the PTA to help fund ongoing programs.
2010-2011 Class Supply Lists Every Eastgate student will be supplied with the instructional materials (e.g. textbooks, workbooks, paper, pencils, crayons, etc.) necessary for their academic success. In addition to these materials, each grade level has a suggested list of supplies that your child may elect to bring to school for him or herself. Some items from the list will be shared with the rest of the class. Thank you in advance for sending any or all of the suggested supplies to school. Your contributions promote all the childrens' academic sucess by allowing us to stretch our school resources further. Below are links to the suggested "Class Supply Lists" for each grade.

Starting this year, the Bellevue School District has given each teacher his/her own webpage. Each teacher's webpage contains contact information, and may contain classroom information, curriculum information, interesting links and other usefull information. You can vist the teacher's website either here or from the "Links"page of the PTA website. Please remember the teachers are just beginning to utilize their new webpage. Check back often for updated content.
